Privacy Policy

Effective: August 20, 2026
Version 2.4

Data Ownership

You own your marketplace data. We never sell your ASIN or sales intelligence to third-party aggregators.

OAuth Isolation

We utilize official Amazon SP-API OAuth. Your Seller Central password is never stored or visible to us.

Purpose-Driven

We only collect data necessary to power your research, protection, and optimization workflows.

1. Introduction

AmzEngine ("we," "our," or "us") is dedicated to protecting the privacy and strategic intelligence of Amazon sellers. This Privacy Policy outlines our commitment to data integrity and explains how we collect, process, and safeguard the information generated through your use of our platform and expert services.

2. The Amazon SP-API Ecosystem

Our platform functions as an authorized developer within the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) ecosystem. All data ingestion is governed by Amazon's Data Protection Policy (DPP) and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).

  • Scoped Authorization: We only request the minimum permission sets required to perform specific tasks (e.g., Pricing, Catalog, Inventory).
  • Tokenized Access: Your authorization is managed via temporary tokens. You may revoke our access at any time via your Amazon Seller Central developer settings.

3. Data Collection Categories

We categorize the information we process into two primary groups:

A. Personal Information

Contact details, billing information via Stripe, and user preferences used for account management and notification delivery.

B. Marketplace Intelligence

Product listings, historical pricing, competitor movements, keyword rankings, and account health signals retrieved via API to power our intelligence engine.

4. Strategic Data Protection

We recognize that your competitive strategy is proprietary. We implement technical controls to ensure your intelligence remains yours:

  • AES-256 Encryption: All ASIN-level data is encrypted at rest.
  • Database Multi-Tenancy: Strict Row-Level Security (RLS) prevents data leakage between user workspaces.
  • Isolated Document Buckets: Service-related documents (Invoices, Appeals) are stored in encrypted, non-public storage with access limited to assigned specialists.

5. Information Sharing & Third Parties

AmzEngine does not monetize your marketplace data through sales to aggregators or market researchers. We only share data with:

  • Infrastructure Providers: Secure cloud hosting (e.g., Supabase/AWS) managed under strict DPA agreements.
  • Payment Processors: Stripe handles all credit card transactions; we never store your full payment details.
  • Expert Network: Only when you manually engage a service (e.g., Hijacker Removal), relevant data is shared with the assigned specialist under strict confidentiality.
Compliance Note
AmzEngine is designed to be GDPR and CCPA compliant. We respect your right to data portability and deletion.

6. Data Retention

We retain your marketplace intelligence only as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with historical tracking trends. Upon account termination, you may request full deletion of all marketplace data associated with your workspace.

7. Your Rights & Controls

You maintain full control over your data. Through your dashboard settings, you can:

  • Export your historical keyword and product data.
  • Modify your notification and data ingestion preferences.
  • Request a summary of personal data currently stored in our systems.
