Choose the right service

Is this an ASIN issue or an account issue?

The two look similar in Seller Central, but they need different work. Picking the right one first saves time and avoids a response that answers the wrong question.

ASIN problem

ASIN / listing issue

  • One or more products affected
  • Your account may still be active
  • A notice about a specific product or listing
  • A product policy or compliance issue
  • Listing removed or deactivated

Account problem

Account issue

  • Seller account suspended or deactivated
  • Selling privileges affected broadly
  • An account-level Amazon notice
  • Several parts of your business affected
View Account Reinstatement

Removed listing and suppressed listing aren't always the same issue.

ASIN / listing reinstatement

The listing or ASIN has been removed, deactivated or restricted, or Amazon requires an appeal or reinstatement workflow. This is what this service covers.

Listing suppression

The listing may still exist but is hidden from search, or needs content or attribute corrections. See listing suppression help.

Issue types

Different listing problems require different evidence.

Intake records which type applies so the review starts in the right place. Some cases are better served by a specialized service, and we'll tell you if yours is one of them.

  • Product policy

A notice citing a specific Amazon product or listing policy.

  • Restricted product

Items in categories that need approval or aren't allowed.

  • Product compliance

Missing or outdated compliance information Amazon has requested.

  • Authenticity concern

Complaints questioning whether products are genuine.

  • Intellectual property complaint

Rights-owner complaints — often routed to IP Complaint Response.

  • Detail page / product information

    Inaccurate or conflicting listing information.

  • Product safety documentation

Safety or testing documents Amazon has asked for.

  • Condition / customer complaint

Complaints about condition, labelling or product as described.

  • Other / unknown

Not sure what applies — share the notice and we'll review it.

First step

Start with Amazon's actual notification.

The right response depends on what Amazon actually said — not on what a forum post says usually happens. Guessing the reason often leads to a response that addresses the wrong issue.

  • The exact notice. Its wording states what Amazon is asking for.
  • The affected ASIN. And whether other ASINs share the same issue.
  • The marketplace. Requirements can differ between marketplaces.
  • Previous cases and appeals. Amazon reads a new submission alongside earlier ones.
  • Documents Amazon requested. These set what evidence is relevant.

Or paste the notification text (optional)

Case review

What the case review may include.

The specialist looks at the information relevant to your issue type. Not every item applies to every case.

  • Amazon notice
  • Affected ASIN(s)
  • Listing information
  • The policy or compliance issue
  • Previous Seller Support cases
  • Previous appeal
  • Amazon's response
  • Relevant product documents
  • Invoices / supplier information, where appropriate
  • Listing attributes and content, where relevant

We never ask for your Amazon password or Seller Central login.

Process

How the AmzEngine ASIN reinstatement service works.

  1. Describe the listing issue

Answer a short intake about the marketplace, ASINs and issue type.

  2. Upload Amazon's notice

Add the notification and any earlier correspondence.

  3. Provide affected ASINs and supporting information

Share the documents relevant to your issue type.

  4. Expert reviews the case

A specialist assesses the notice, listing and evidence.

  5. Receive your strategy and deliverables

A correction or response strategy and the deliverables your package includes.

  6. Follow Amazon's submission process

You submit through your own Seller Central account, using our guidance.

  7. Upload Amazon's response

Share the reply so follow-up can continue where your package includes it.

The right workflow

Some cases require listing correction. Others require a response.

Not every removed ASIN needs a Plan of Action. The notice decides what's appropriate, and sending an appeal when Amazon asked for a correction — or the other way round — can slow things down.

Correct listing information

Fix inaccurate titles, attributes or product details.

Provide missing documentation

Supply the genuine documents Amazon requested.

Address a policy issue

Explain what changed so the listing meets the policy.

Respond to an authenticity concern

Present sourcing evidence that actually exists.

Prepare an appeal or response

Where the notice calls for one, written for your case.

Follow Seller Support instructions

Sometimes the next step is simply the process Amazon set out.

Documents

Prepare the documentation relevant to your case.

Required documents depend on the issue. The specialist confirms which ones matter for your notice, so you don't spend time gathering things Amazon hasn't asked for.

At intake we ask for: asin(s), issue type (suppressed / suspended / policy flagged), amazon notification upload, listing url, previous seller support cases.

  • Amazon notice
  • Invoices
  • Supplier details
  • Product images
  • Compliance documentation
  • Safety / testing documents, where applicable
  • Brand documentation
  • Previous case correspondence
  • Seller Support case IDs

AmzEngine will never assist with fabricated documentation. We don't create or alter invoices, certificates, test reports or supplier records. Every document must be genuine.

Case types that need specific evidence

Authenticity complaints require evidence.

Supplier invoices and sourcing history may be relevant, but Amazon's notice determines what's requested. We work only with documentation that exists and never manufacture it.

Some IP complaints require specialized review.

Trademark, copyright, patent and other rights-owner complaints follow their own process — see IP Complaint Response. Some IP disputes need qualified legal counsel; AmzEngine does not substitute for legal advice.

Restrictions and compliance need case-specific review.

Category restrictions, product documentation, safety requirements, dangerous goods / hazmat where applicable, and marketplace-specific rules. We help you meet Amazon's requirements — never work around them.

Previous attempts

Already tried to reinstate the ASIN?

Share the previous appeal, the Seller Support case, Amazon's response and the documents you already submitted.

The specialist can review

  • What was attempted
  • What Amazon responded
  • Whether relevant information may be missing
  • Whether another approach is appropriate

Scope

More than one ASIN affected?

Tell us how many ASINs are affected during intake. Larger or mixed cases are scoped with a custom quote before any payment, so you know the price first.

Many ASINs sharing the same cause can often be handled together; unrelated issues usually can't.

Custom review

Some cases start with an expert review.

If any of these apply, request a case review first. A specialist looks at the details and replies with the right scope before you pay.

  • 20+ ASINs
  • Multiple marketplaces
  • Multiple rejected attempts
  • Account-level impact
  • IP or legal complexity
  • Several unrelated policy issues
  • Missing critical documentation

AmzEngine turnaround

The time we need to review your case and prepare deliverables once your intake and documents are complete. Time spent waiting on information from you isn't counted.

Amazon response time

Controlled entirely by Amazon after you submit. We can't promise that a listing will be restored by any particular date.

Case workspace

Track your case in one place.

After purchase, your case has its own workspace where you upload documents, message your specialist, receive deliverables and see what happens next — and who it's with.

  • Upload documents privately
  • Message your specialist
  • Receive deliverables
  • See the current status and next action

Case files are stored privately and available only to you, the assigned specialist and AmzEngine administrators. How AmzEngine handles security.

After submission

Upload Amazon's response and keep the case moving.

Whatever Amazon replies, add it to your case. The specialist reviews it and tells you the next step. Follow-up depends on the package and scope you selected; work beyond it is offered separately, with a clear price.

Possible replies from Amazon

  • Listing restored
  • Additional documents requested
  • Appeal rejected
  • A new issue raised
  • Still waiting

After the immediate issue

Keep the listing monitored after the immediate issue.

Monitoring can help you notice changes sooner. It doesn't prevent Amazon enforcement actions.

  • Service-specific document collection
  • Expert review
  • Transparent pricing and scope
  • Case status
  • Messaging
  • Document workspace
